What are Fat Grips?

Unfortunately, in most gyms you will not find equipment such as thick bars (elephant bar) or, for example, thicker pull-up bars. Fat Grips have become extremely popular lately.

By placing Fat Grips around the handles of dumbbells or a barbell you increase the diameter. This means you have to use a lot more force to control the weight. Because you have to exert more force, you contract many more muscles when you perform a certain exercise. This way you train more muscles that may not have received enough attention before.

One of the best results of training with Fat Grips is that you greatly improve your grip strength. A stronger grip helps enormously during important exercises.

Are you unable to keep your grip on the barbell during Deadlifts when you try to lift a higher weight? Or do you notice that your hands slip when pulling up? Fat grips are then the solution to get better at these exercises.

Tip to really get a pump in your forearms: Do slightly lower weight for at least 12 times until you really can't do it anymore.
